This Easter get your children an Evo from Ozobot, and start them on the path of coding. This is a vital skill in our world today, and it is taught here is such a cool manner. This little bot is adorable, and interactive. With an App your children can teach their robot new tricks and skills. Now as they develop their mind, their Evo will be able to do more.
About Ozobot-Evo
Evo is an award winning coding robot that comes in black or white. There are two different ways to code Evo: online with OzoBlocky programming or use Color Code markers for an off screen version. When you first open your Evo, it can do three tricks right off the bat. It can play music, follow your finger, or run away from your finger. Then you can connect to the Evo app to earn points and level up. After that you can continue to code, create, and play with games and tricks. You also can get a skin to add personality to your Evo such as Racer, or Unicorn.
Evo Programmable Features
- Speaker
- 7 LED Lights

Mom’s Thoughts
This tiny Evo robot is very cool. It follows your finger across the table, makes neat noises, and has multiple colored lights that go on and off. I think that the ability to code it and have it do tricks is very neat. I am always on board for learning in the disguise of play. My son got the app on his phone and has worked with his Evo. It can move as commanded like an RC car, he can make it do noises, and flash rainbow lights. He is going to start programming it with OzoBlocky next. For that you bring up OzoBlocky on the computer and calibrate your Evo to it. Then you build a program and load. You can make your Evo spin, move a certain distance, flash a certain color light, a pattern of lights, even police car lights.
The Racer Skin comes with a lanyard, so you can wear Evo and take it with you where ever you go. The skin also comes with a code to unlock custom tricks and sounds. This is a great way to customize your Evo, plus right now you can get a Racer skin or Unicorn skin free with a purchase of Evo for Easter.
Here is the Unicorn Skin, which my daughter loves. She takes the Evo and dresses it up in the Unicorn Skin. Then she has a great time having it chase her hand with the cute horn glowing. Evo makes magical noises because of the code that comes with the skin. My daughter can draw pictures with the coding markers and Evo will trace the lines. Then as it rides over color indicators it will do as directed by that color.
My daughter’s favorite activity is using Evo as a magic eight ball. Ask it a question and put your fingers at the back sensor. Evo spins around with lights, and answers the question with something like: “yes”, “no”, “for sure”, and “definitely not”.
