My Thoughts:
My kids love to use their imaginations to come up with craft ideas and a lot of time, they just look through the items we already have. But sometimes it’s nice to have a kit so they can learn or practice a new skill. You don’t want to spend a lot of time and money finding all the little tools and materials you’ll need, so buying one of the pre-made DIY Kits from Horizon Group is a great idea! While they have many to choose from with topics ranging from bracelets, scrap-booking, and outdoors, you can also find science kits for crystal growing, slime making, and more.
STMT Custom Candles
The first one we tried was the STMT Custom Candles. STMT stands for “Simple Trendy Modern Touch”. This custom candle kit includes a bunch of supplies that allow you to make 2 candles completely customized by you! The tins can be decorated to fit into your room or even as a gift for someone else. Then you choose a color (or mix them together) like pink or blue. You add a fragrance or combine several into the same candle, using Lavender, Sweet Orange, and Rose.

Kidi Secrets Selfie Journal™
Finally, the kids tried the Kidi Secrets Selfie Journal™. This diary doesn’t use a traditional key in the lock, but instead utilizes facial recognition technology so only you can unlock it! Instead of writing entries, you use voice recordings or photo entries to store your memories, thoughts, and dreams. It’s equipped with both front and rear cameras to take selfies or photos of friends. You can also use a few built in tools like music, filters, and games on the control panel. Our little Miss Allie saw it and hugged it saying, “This is what I wanted for me and Mom to keep our secrets”. Not so sure she understands how to use a diary yet, but it was sweet that she wanted to share it with Mom!
