My Thoughts
While I am not particularly looking to lose weight, I was in dire need of a way to have quick healthy meals. I do my best to eat a healthy diet, but time is NOT my friend! Most of the time I find myself grabbing fast and processed foods (junk food) that I can quickly stuff in my mouth while continuing to work. Then, hours later, I am hungry again and looking for chips or a snack (again not good) to hold me off until the next meal. Diet-to-Go has been a Godsend to me!
I was intrigued with Diet-to-Go and chose to try their Balance Menu with a Vegetarian twist since I eat very little meat and no fish or seafood. However, I did try the turkey and chicken – also delicious! The meals arrive packed in ice and you simply place in the fridge. They are fresh, not frozen. Then, for each meal, simply pop into the microwave for 1-2 minutes and you have a DELICIOUS, healthy meal. I was surprised at the ample portion sizes! It is more than enough to fill you up and with the healthy ingredients, I stayed satisfied until the next meal time. In other words, I wasn’t in the kitchen digging out bad-for-you chips to snack on.
The best way to describe the Diet-to-Go meals is that they are much like TV dinner in that they come in a tray and you heat and eat. However, Diet-to-Go meals are MUCH HEALTHIER, fresher, tastier food that is actually prepared by a chef! The variety is also amazing! Fresh veggies, fruits, flavored spreads, etc. The meals are quick, delicious, and satisfying. I cannot recommend them enough!
