List of Supplies:
- Cardstock paper – brown
- Styrofoam balls – both colored and white
- White poster color
- Paint brush
- Pencil or pen – for tracing the template
- Scissors
- Craft glue or glue stick
Instructions:
Step 1:
Select brown colored cardstock paper for this craft and prepare the patterns from the template by printing and cutting them out. Trace the template patterns using a pencil, on the selected cardstock paper. The template includes 2 patterns, 1 for the roof and 1 for the house. Click HERE to print the Template.
Step 2:
Use poster color to paint borders, door and windows on the front side of the house cut out. Allow the paint to dry after the painting is done.
Step 3:
Fold the house cut out. Follow the lines inside the house template pattern for folding it. Fold along the shown lines.
Step 4:
Apply glue along the extra thin part of the house pattern and attach it with the part next to it to close all 4 sides of the house.
Step 5:
Take the roof cut out. Paint borders and tile patterns on the roof. Paint any pattern you want and once the painting is done allow it dry.
Step 6:
After the painting dries fold the roof cut out into half along the traced line shown in the template.
Step 7:
Apply glue and join the roof on the top side of the house.
Step 8:
Grab both white and colored Styrofoam balls. Cut the Styrofoam balls into half.
Step 9:
Glue the half cut Styrofoam balls on the house (and roof) to decorate it.
Step 10:
Decorate the borders of the roof and the sides of the house.
Step 11:
Keep adding until the decoration looks nice or complete.
Allow the glue to dry and done!
Be sure to pin for later!
