Looking for some moist and delicious cookies for Christmas?
These are the perfect cookies for those parties and cookie exchanges! They are easy to make and they will be gone before you know it.
If you make some for Santa, be sure to make extra so Santa will actually have some left to eat!
Merry Christmas!!
Yields: 18 cookies
Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temp.
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. peppermint extract
1 egg, room temp
3.4 oz Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1/4 cup red cake sprinkles
1/4 cup peppermint cookie sprinkles
3/4 cup red and green M&Ms
Directions:
In a large bowl add the butter and brown sugar.
Beat to combine.
Add in the egg, peppermint extract, and vanilla and beat until smooth.
Add pudding mix, baking soda, and salt.
Mix until combined.
Add in the flour.
Mix until combined.
Stir in all of the sprinkles and M&Ms.
Cover the bowl and chill for 1 hour.
Using a small ice cream scoop shape the dough into small balls.
Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Place chilled cookie dough balls 2” apart on baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet.
