Fashionable School Bags from TWELVElittle #MegaChristmas18

September 19, 2018 by Sherryl Wilson

Fashion has changed so much since I was a kid. And trust me, I’ve never been at the height of any fashion trends while they were happening (and that’s okay) but my kids, especially the youngest of the group, now that’s a different story. We have to make a few compromises on what she wears, but I generally don’t have a problem with her choices. And this year, she didn’t want just any backpack, she wanted a big girl one. No characters, no cute prints, just “older” and classic. So we went with fashionable school bags from TWELVElittle.

About TWELVElittle

Parenthood is one of the most rewarding and challenging events any parent can imagine. Every “first” moment is memorable; the first smile, first step, first word, and who can ever forget the first time you bring your baby to the outside world and see those wandering eyes light up. As parents and guardians, we can also agree that having the right baby gear for each occasion is just as important and challenging.

Our TWELVElittle baby bags are precisely made to assist every parent at the right moment, and capture every experience with ease and grace. Each bag is thoroughly designed with individual style, and engineered with every practicality. Made of high quality water resistant fabrics and genuine leather, it is the perfect bag to carry all baby essentials. What’s more, it is also the perfect accessory after it graduates from the baby bag stage.

My Review:

Knowing that my little fashionista wanted a big girl backpack and would also need/want a lunch bag to match it, I wanted to find something that she would like but also something that would hold up to her wear and tear as well as being something she wants to use in the future. And like any fashion forward lady, she went with a classic black design.

We started with the Adventure Backpack in Black. It’s mostly black, with a logo tag, along with a small sequin patch that shows ON or OFF underneath “Study Mode” printed on the bag. You run your hand over the sequins to change their direction whether you want the word ON or OFF to show and this was a hit right away! It definitely reminded me of an older kid’s backpack from the outside, but it also had features designed for younger wearers. Like a chest clip to help hold it the bag to stay secure. It also has padded straps to help distribute the weight which are also adjustable so it can be sized to fit them perfectly. There are also several pockets inside to help with organization and the whole bag can be washed on the gentle cycle in case it needs to be cleaned.

There is also a mesh water bottle pocket on one side to help her keep track of her drink bottle, plus a zippered pocket on the front of the bag for small things like pencils, scissors, and other supplies.

Then we picked out the matching Adventure Lunch Bag in Black to go with it. She loved that it has an extra long strap so she can wear it cross body when her hands are full and not worry about it slipping off her shoulder while she’s trying to get on the bus. It also has several areas to hold different foods whether they are hot or cold and it even has a spot for utensils and an ice pack! The surface cleans easily with a good wipe down, and the black fabric with the gray stripes matches the backpack identically. Just like the backpack, it can be machine washed on a gentle cycle and allowed to air dry.

If your child doesn’t like the strap to wear it on their shoulder or as a cross body bag, the strap can be removed and the lunch bag carried by the handle on the top!

I’ve already told my fashionista that I wouldn’t be ashamed or embarrassed to borrow either the backpack or the lunch bag for myself! LOL! I love the sleek black design of both bags and yes, the reversible sequin patch is just adorable. And study mode would usually say OFF when I borrow it, let’s be honest.

Let’s just not tell my fashionista that her lunch bag is perfect for Mom and Granma too! It will be our secret!
Check out all the other options that TWELVElittle has to offer, from backpacks and lunch bags, to diaper pouches, stroller bags, purses, pacifier keepers, and more! I love how they offer other choices besides the TV/movie character prints for our kids that they sell in the stores these days. Plus, they are easy to keep clean and keep using as our kids get older. My daughter is delighted with her fashionable school bags from TWELVElittle and sports them proudly.
