I do not like bottled water. I do occasionally drink it for convenience, but I have never fully trusted that what I am drinking is what it says it is. Plus I do not like how plastic is so toxic, and leaves the water tasting like plastic. I have a great filter on my well and I love my tap water. My friends love it to and have been known to fill up jugs before heading back home to their house. Anyway I bring water with me wherever I go and I love my new Faucet Face bottles. They brighten up my water and are perfect size to take along with me.
About Faucet Face
For over a decade, bottled water has been taking over. They spend millions of dollars on marketing to tell us how wonderful their water is and put ads on with gorgeous springs and rivers. Then we think we are drinking a product that is pure and clean. During their promotion of bottled water they imply tap water is inferior. Therefore Faucet Face wants to bring back tap water’s dignity through their glass water bottles. Don’t create more water bottle waste- drink tap water!
The Problem with Plastic
Beyond the issues of leaching chemicals into your drink, we throw away 2.5 million plastic bottles every hour. Those not filling up our landfills have been shown to impact wildlife when they find their way into the ocean. They kill wildlife such as albatross, and sea turtles. Both will mistake plastic for their food. The water bottles are wasteful and very harmful to the environment.
Mom’s Thoughts
I am happy to use these Faucet Face bottles and know that I am not adding to the pollution of our world. The water tastes a whole lot better in the glass bottles and they are cute and unique. Now I know exactly which bottle is mine. I have been at church where the kids grab waters, then forget which is theirs and grab a new one. Ugh that just makes me so sad, but at least my kids have a glass bottle to take and refill. I am glad to be part of the solution not the problem.
These bottles are great on the go. They fit in the car cup holders and since they have a cap I can even put them in my purse. I take them to church, in the sanctuary because I do not have to fear they will spill. I take them in the car, on picnics, to the store, and use them around the house. The kids use them too, and we all like how much better the water tastes in the glass.
Oils
Essential Oils are big in our culture right now, and they cannot go into plastic bottles. They will eat the plastic, and you will be drinking plastic particles instead of healthy water. I know it is safe to use oils in glass, so now I can drop some grapefruit oil into my water and head off. The oil is good for metabolism and the water is good for everything. Plus with glass you do not have to worry about it heating up. Plastic is not safe when heated again because it can leach chemicals out at certain temperatures. I am glad I do not have to fret about that anymore.
Faucet Face Gives Back
As well as making a product that is impacting the world in a positive manner, Faucet Face is providing a minimum of 100 liters of clean water for families in India for each bottle you buy. They donate 2.5% off ALL its glass and Stainless Steel Water Bottles, and donate a complete filter for each sale of 5 or more individual bottles to the clean drinking water charity-Third Millennium Awakening (TMA). Therefore what are you waiting for? Get some Faucet Face bottles and enjoy clean, great tasting tap water, while reducing pollution, and helping those in need!
