BuddyPhones PLAY Headphones For Toddlers & Kids

June 11, 2018 by Michelle Cantu

BuddyPhones PLAY Headphones are the perfect kids’ volume-limiting headphones to help keep noise levels down to World Health Organization recommended standards. Protecting those precious little ears means it’s my responsibility to limit my children’s exposure to excessive levels of sound and provide care that won’t expose them to noise levels higher than 85 decibels. I worry about hearing loss and the exposure my kids get to dangerous levels of noise on a regular basis.

The Journal of Pediatrics reports that “12.5% of kids between the ages of 6 and 19 suffer from hearing loss as a result of using earphones turned to a high volume.”

About BuddyPhones

BuddyPhones are created by ONANOFF, a design and technology company taking its name from the most fundamental feature of all electronics: the on and off button. Inspired by a friend looking for durable and safe headphones for his kids, we realized there weren’t many safe options on the market for children. Therefore we decided to give parents a peace of mind and provide a safe sound solution for little ones.

The very stylish BuddyPhones PLAY headphones are the solution for little ones who are on a device and need safe sound. They also come with a BuddyCable audio splitter that allows up to four headphones to share one device, so there are no issues having multiple kids listening to one device. BuddyPhones are designed to be the only headphones your child needs.

Key features on BuddyPhones PLAY headphones include:

  • Select the ideal sound setting based on age, toddler mode, kids mode, travel mode and study mode.
  • Adjustable size for toddlers and big kids.
  • Cushion comfort
  • Foldable and perfect for travel.
  • No batteries required just recharge with the Micro-usb charger cord
  • BuddyCable audio sharing cord
  • Soft Travel Bag
  • Custom Nametag Stickers

My Thoughts

Hearing loss because a child is listening to something too loud can do more than hurt their ears. It causes delayed speech, learning problems, struggle with communication and isolation. I love having options on the BuddyPhones to easily change the sound from 74dB to 94dB. Having wireless headphones for a child is priceless. I don’t have to have the added worry of the cord tangling on her while she sits and enjoys her favorite show on a long car ride. The headphones are comfortable and fit nicely over my daughters tiny head without falling or sliding down on her. I can also toss them in our bag and take them anywhere, great when we get stuck somewhere and I need to combat boredom.
