Moms are on their feet all day, and yes even many nights as our little ones grow up. I didn’t think much about it when I was younger but as I have aged, my feet often feel like they have aged faster than the rest of my body. This Mother’s Day, I am enjoying the gift of foot comfort with my Footlog.
About the Footlog
The Footlog has been called the Best Foot Pain Relief Available!
Scientifically designed to massage and exercise the foot, the Footlog therapy tool is great for runners, dancers, and other athletes who need to be in top form, it is also ideal for people who works on their feet throughout the day. “Footlog is the number one tool I recommend in corporate health,” says Ron Jones, a kinesiologist and corporate wellness coach in Valencia, CA.
The Footlog is certainly the easiest solution to foot pain available.
My Thoughts:
My entire world stops when my feet hurt. Over the years, I have struggled with plantar fasciitis and when that is flaring up, there isn’t much that helps with the pain. I have tried soaking, rubbing, wrapping, and other things to try to keep my feet stretched out so they don’t hurt when I stand up after being off them for a while. I even had to stop wearing heels years ago because of the pain when I would take them off or switch to a pair of flats.
When I received the foot log and pulled it out, my daughter Meg who is a licensed massage therapist called dibs! She wanted it to use on her clients. Needless to say that this mom won that battle.
Have you ever seen the diagram of the human foot showing all the nerves? It is said to contain the most nerve endings in our body and each of those nerve endings leads to and from another part of our body. Makes our feet pretty impressive doesn’t it? Did you know that Reflexology, which is the study of applying pressure to specific locations on the body (especially the feet) can relieve pain throughout the entire body?
The Footlog works by stimulating the arch in your foot. This is the main area where all the little joints come together and why most foot pain centers in or around the arch. As you being rolling your foot back and forth over the Footlog, the pressure from the tips on the device stimulates the nerve endings (also called pressure points) to reduce stress and pain in your foot. According to the study of Reflexology, massaging these pressure points also stimulates nerves throughout the body resulting in relief from pain caused by stress placed on your feet.
Now I am no way an expert on Reflexology or how to solve foot pain, but I will share that using the Footlog has started to show improvement in my feet. When I first started using the Footlog, my feet were tender from the points on the device. They didn’t hurt, but my feet were tender. This tenderness stopped after about a week of daily use and now I can apply more pressure when needed without any discomfort. My tenderness could have been a result of just having tender skin, but I really think it was the stimulation of the pressure points because I have similar tenderness when I get a massage on my feet.
I keep my Footlog under my desk and will use it several times during the day. I find that using it keeps my feet from swelling and being as painful by the end of the day. If you or someone you care about suffers from painful feet, get them one of these devices. They will love that you gave them the gift of foot comfort and relief.
The Footlog comes in three (3) different color options and includes a book on foot care that is packed with information and suggestions for getting the most out of your feet.
