Mattress Advisor
Here at Mattress Advisor, we’re kind of obsessed with sleep. And we’re committed to helping our readers find their best sleep possible. We’re not sleep experts, and we don’t have PhDs in sleep disorders. We’re parents, schedule jugglers, recovering victims of all-nighters, procrastinators and overachievers…so we know a practical thing or two about the importance of a good night’s sleep. And we know first-hand how critical a good mattress is to getting quality sleep. That’s why we’re relentless in our pursuit of providing the most comprehensive, to-the-point, and unbiased reviews of the best mattresses and bedding accessories on the market.
In addition to mattress reviews and guides, Mattress Advisor offers reviews on travel related products. They have a wonderful Traveler Gift Guide that will take the worry and decision struggle out of gift giving for you.
One of the highly recommended items on the Traveler Gift Guide is: Call it a Night!
Noise can be disturbing at any time but especially when you are sleeping in a strange place. It’s not always convenient to bring along or pull out a sound machine, but being able to sleep is crucial when traveling.
These SleepPhones® are THE answer when you need to block the surrounding noises. They are headphones built into a headband. And because they are wireless, you don’t have to worry about cords while sleeping.
My Thoughts:
I travel several times a month and I understand how hard it is to sleep in a strange place. Heck, it is hard to sleep around my house sometimes because of all the noise!
Over the years, I have tried ear plugs and other products but honestly, they make my ears hurt after a few hours and I end up pulling them off. If they are corded, when then I end up wrapped up and struggling with the cord.
What I like about the SleepPhones® are that they are wireless but more important, they are soft and comfortable to wear. Also not being real tech orientated, even I could sync them up with my phone on the first attempt! The headband is made from a soft stretchy material and doesn’t slide around on my head. The controls are easy to learn and easy to use.
Once set up, it is simple to start streaming music or even an audio book while you drift off to sleep. I like them so much that I use them when I am local too. They are great for listening to my devotionals or music while working around the house or when I go out for a walk. And since you can remove the speakers and control box, the headband can be washed as needed.
If you or someone you know travels often and struggles with getting a good night’s sleep, the SleepPhones® might be just the solution. Make sure to check out all the gift ideas that make life easier when traveling on Mattress Advisor’s Traveler Gift Guide.
