We pride ourselves in providing the highest levels of product quality and customer service continues to be our highest priority. We believe that living smart and eating smart can be easy, and we’re here to help.
EatSmart Digital Nutrition Scale
This scale has something most do not, the control panel has a white backlight which fully illuminates the display for easy readings. Now there are no excuses for my portions or weights being off. This scale has a weight capacity of up to 11 pounds which means I can use it to weigh things in and out of the kitchen.
The best part, in my opinion is that the EatSmart Digital Nutrition Scale analyzes the nutritional content of ANY food by portion size and was designed by an unparalleled team of medical professionals. The database stores the nutritional values for approximately 1,000 foods, which have been carefully selected to reflect fresh, whole foods Americans eat.
The scale will instantly calculate the cardiovascular nutrients essential for overall well being for Calories, Carbohydrates, Fiber, Sodium, Potassium, Magnesium, Total Fat, Saturated Fat, Cholesterol, Calcium, Protein, Vitamin K. Additionally, the proprietary EatSmart Nutrition Facts Calculator is the only scale on the market that allows you to calculate nutrients for any food with a USDA Nutrition Facts label.
EatSmart Precision GetFit Digital Body Fat Scale w/Auto Recognition Technology
This is not your ordinary bathroom scale. It, of course, provides your body weight, but it also can be set to measure your body fat, and your body muscle and bone mass. Talk about a scale that is set up to really help you get serious when getting into shape.
The electronic system uses a BIA (Bio-Electrical Impedance Analysis) technology to calculate your personal fitness.
It will track up to 8 different profiles so everyone can have a profile setup to help them improve their health.
The features on this GetFit scale that I think are pretty impressive are the step-on and the person/profile recognition. Each person that has a profile set up will be recognized when they step on the scale!
Accurately tracking weights up to 400 pounds, this scale will measure and record your weight up to the nearest 0.2 pounds.
My Thoughts:
Whether trying to lose or improve your health, both of these scales are great tools to have on hand.
Since we all know nutritional meals are not just determined by counting calories, this scale provides not only these but several other measurements like sodium, carbs, fiber, potassium, fat, calcium, and protein. Let’s just say this kitchen scale takes the “math” out of portion control.
Being able to track your physical measurements accurately is just as important. This scale will track up to 8 different profiles and it even “knows” you as soon as you step on it. Yikes…
Setting up the scale was easy. The first time you will enter your personal stats of gender, height, age, activity level and it will record your starting weight. While standing on the scale, it sends a low electrical signal though your body fat in your feet so it can measure the resistance the signal encounters which is how it determines your body fat percentage. Don’t worry, this signal is safe and you can’t feel it. Note that the manufacturer does have a disclaimer on the product stating that persons that have a pace maker or other internal electronic devices should obtain medical clearance before using this unit.
I think the unit is pretty and because it has a low profile, it will slip under a shelf or cabinet easily when not in use. Of course it probably would get more use when it is out for everyone to use. We keep ours in the main bathroom so everyone can get to it to weigh in based on their schedule.
The LCD screen is large and easy to read. Now I don’t need my glasses to see how much weight I didn’t lose! Just kidding. Having a weight capacity of up to 400 pounds really means that it is perfect for most people.
