I Kill Giants is about strong women and powerful female characters with an almost entirely female cast. The film also touches on bullying, standing up for yourself, finding strength within yourself, and imagination vs. reality. One of my son’s friends fits that role- she is the strongest girl I know. She has overcome odds, stood up to the bullies and actually starred in 2 musicals at their school. She started out as the brunt of everyone’s jokes now she is the envy of all the younger girls. Once you hear her sing, you will never look at her the same!
