Have you ever just watched a little one play? Their minds are amazing. I love to jump in and play in their fantasy stories. And as much as I love watching them play, this early age is the best time to start teaching them too. Their little minds soak up everything they see and hear, so why not take advantage of this by introducing them to skills that will help them later. Teach My has games and materials for little ones from about six months through Kindergarten.
About Teach My
Teach My are creators of wonderful educational materials that help you help your child get a head start preparing for school. Their products encourage parents to start teaching their babies, toddlers and preschoolers the basic skills needed to start school. Skills like letters and sounds, colors, shapes, numbers, reading, and math. In just 20 minutes a day, parents can help their little ones develop the needed fine motor skills and hand eye coordination.
My little ones may not understand the concepts yet of Math, but they can learn basic concepts of putting things together or taking things away. And although my little ones can’t read yet, they are learning their colors and the sounds that each letter makes when it says it’s name.
Teach My Learning On The Go
Our 4 year old loves the bright orange learning on the go bag. He has recently learned to write his first name and likes to practice it on the dry erase board.
Who doesn’t remember playing hop scotch growing up? We are having a blast learning to hop, jump and skip with the hop and learn mat.
Teach My Yoga Mats
And when you are exercising and the little ones want to be right there under you, grab their mat and let them try to do the poses and positions on the mat. It is hysterical watching them try to mimic the poses.
Teach My Preschooler Kit
We have a preschooler who loves to pretend to read. She looks at the pictures and makes up her own story. It is precious to have her create a story for you. She is just starting to think about coloring inside the lines and writing her letters.
Teach My Kindergarten Kit
Our kindergarten little man thinks he is hot stuff now that he can write his name and has learned quite a few sight words. He likes to help you read by pointing out the words he knows.
My Thoughts
While I believe in early education, I also think that this teaching should be done in a relaxed and fun setting. I like that Teach My offers products that can be used to teach while playing.
As a mom, I am enjoying the way the educational material is put together by Teach My. It is well organized and set up so that learning is fun. Spending time everyday “playing” while learning as really made a difference. Each day they are both learning more and becoming more confident in their abilities.
If you have little ones, Teach My has just what you need to help them be prepared for preschool and kindergarten.
