Light Up the Night with Starlux Glow Games
This Easter get your kids some awesome glow in the dark games from Starlux. With these games you can be up and about instead of vegging in front of a TV or other screen. Your children will love playing active games when they have Glow Battle and Capture the Flag Redux to pick from.
About Glow Battle
This new game from Starlux is sure to become a family favorite. Today our youth are spending on average 6+ hours in front of a screen. This is not good for their health and well being. Glow Battle will get the whole family off their phones in a safe way, where they can run, jump, and burn calories. During the epic battle that will ensue your family will have a ton of fun together.
The game pieces of Glow Battle are easy to set up, awesome to look at, and even more fun to use. Although they may look simple these glowing components are the foundation that will enable your family to develop strategy and teamwork in an organized game.
Mom’s Thoughts of Glow Battle
My family was stoked when they saw this game. They would have played right then and there, but alas it wasn’t even dark. Therefore they had to wait until night. Once it was dark we set up our green home base, and then the blue one. My husband and daughter were blue and my sons were green. Since I was taking pictures I was not in it, plus we wanted even teams for the one on one warrior version we played. They had a blast beating each other with the light weapons. The green team won, and then they battled it out. We could have also had a free for all where everyone battles at once. We will do that soon outside. This game is fun and you can use the rules, or make your own. The best part was the light saber noises all four of my family were making as they played. That alone was a riot!
About Capture the Flag Redux
This exciting Starlux night time activity comes with 33 light up game pieces, batteries with 12-24+ hours, plus many game play variations. Capture the Flag is a great way to bring people of all ages together. It helps develop teamwork, comradery, strategy, and a bonding experience. Most noteworthy is the physical exercise achieved as the players run, hide, and chase each other to win.
This game is easily played anywhere there is space to run. Therefore it would be a great game in a darkened school gym, or at youth camp, a family reunion, or your own backyard. It would be perfect as a fun themed birthday party activity, and will provide hours of fun entertainment for your whole family.
Mom’s Thoughts on Capture the Flag
We had the extended family over the other night and the kids decided to play Capture the Flag. They got on their glow bracelets and took the orbs. Then they marked off out of bounds with red lights and made their jails in their respective light color-blue or green. There was five kids and they ran around playing this game for about an hour before it was time for the cousins to go home. It was fun to watch streaks of light run here and there in the yard. They had a real good time playing, and want to play again soon. Next time they want to invite more children over though because it was hard to play with so few people. They also might try another version next time if it is just the five again.
Last November my son had a capture the flag birthday party here at the house. They had flashlights and ran around. Since each team member this time was marked with a glow bracelet of their team color, it was so much easier to know friend from foe. I think this time using Starlux Capture the Flag Redux made the game a whole lot more fun and organized. I really am looking forward to the next time we have a large group to play it. Glow Battle or Capture the Flag Redux might even take center stage at our Youth group’s Easter party later this month.
