Chicago Metallic Will Bake the Best Valentines Sweets
We all know Valentine’s day and chocolate go hand and hand. The best Valentine’s Day gifts in my opinion are home made desserts in the shapes of hearts. I have made my husband heart shaped brownies in the past, plus chocolate dipped strawberries arranged in a bouquet. Some of my ideas were major time consumers, but this year because of Chicago Metallic, making my Valentine’s treats was fast and easy.
Chicago Metallic
I received a set of Baking Sheets with a cooling rack, Cookie Dunker Pan, Cookie Notes Cookie Cutters, and The Cookie Dough Shaper. This Valentine’s Day my husband is going to be spoiled with cookies to express how much I love him.
All of the pans are:
- Durable
- Non-stick
- Easy Release
The Cookie Dough Shaper
This little tool saved me so much time and energy. I made Chocolate Hazelnut Heart cookies in record time. This tool is a plastic casing that you put cookie dough into before chilling. It shapes the dough into hearts with cutting guides on the cookies. Then after an hour or more you take the cookie dough out, remove it from the plastic mold, and slice to the desired thickness. Wow, no rolling the dough out, with flour all over the kitchen. It was so fast and easy. If you had a few shape molds you could knock out Christmas cookies in a snap. Then the cookies get baked and the plastic mold is dishwasher safe.
Baking Sheets with Cooling Rack
The Baking Sheets were amazing. I didn’t need to grease them, and they were large and accommodating. The cookies baked quickly and evenly on them. Then when I moved them to the cooling rack they slide right off, using just a rubber scraper. Clean up was also a breeze and I just had to run soap and warm water over them. They can go in the dishwasher, but the coating will last longer with hand washing.
Cookie Dunker Pan
This pan was so cute, it makes spoon shaped cookies. You can bake them, dunk them, and then enjoy them. All the Chicago Metallic pans also come with recipes to try. I will make my way through the recipes, but I was missing ingredients for Almond Sugar Cookies. Therefore I went with store bought chocolate chip cookie dough I had to make my spoons. I will make the Almond cookies, but not till after I get a few things. Anyway the chocolate chip dough went into the pan without grease, and baked. Then they popped right out without a single one sticking. I overfilled the mold a bit, so my spoons had malformed rims. Now I know next time to listen to the directions that said fill to fill line.
The cookies still came out real cute, and were fun to dip in milk and eat. My kids really got a kick out of them, and so did my husband. I thought it was great that the spoon shape was perfect shaped to lay across the glass of milk.
Cookie Notes Cookie Cutters
These Cookie Notes cutters allow you to form notes and statements for those you give the cookies too. Do you want to tell them you love them, or happy holidays, maybe say “Happy Birthday.” With these cookie cutters you can customize your note.
These Cookie Cutters are very unique and versatile. They come with some preset words, as well as a whole bunch of letters with a convenient mesh storage pouch. They would make wonderful Valentine’s Day Cookies, full of professions of love.
Chicago Metallic bake ware made my Valentine baking much easier this year. Beyond it being easier the results were very impressive. My husband already received his baked goodies, and really liked them. He ate his chocolate chip spoons with ice cream, and took his Hazelnut Hearts to work. I did not try the Cookie Notes yet, so I can save them for the next occasion and surprise him with a sweet sentiment for Father’s Day or maybe anytime just because I love him.
Would your Sweetheart like some cookie spoons, or some delicious heart shaped cookies?
