I have been a dog lover my whole life. Since our fuzzy, fluffy dog Coco when I was a kid to my Border Collie Puppy now, I can’t imagine my life without them. Some people just don’t understand WHY we love our pups as much as we do. My answer is always because not matter what we do, they ALWAYS love us! I love this quote by Josh Billings. It sums up exactly why DOGS ARE MORE!
My newest fur baby, Bean- the Border Collie, shows me daily how he is more. Yes, his cuteness wins me over, but there is so much more! Milk-Bone has created a fun way to show the world how our dogs are more! They have a fun Gifmaker that helps your celebrate how your dog is more with a Gif! It’s super easy to use. Go to the Milk-Bone® Gifmaker Landing Page and follow the directions. You will put one word in between Dogs ___ More and then upload a 3 to 5 second video. Here is a screenshot of mine. You see the whole thing if you click here.
Go ahead, make one- you know you want to!
Here are Five Ways my Dog is More!
My Dog Snuggles more! Nothing is better than puppy snuggles. Bean is super affectionate and at the end of a long, hard puppy day, he will fall asleep on my lap or on my shoulder. It’s the perfect ending to my long, busy day!
My Dog Plays More: Bean lives to play. He doesn’t care who is around to play with- he even has made friends with the cat so they can lay. He loves his little puppy friend- Yogi. They wrestle non-stop for hours and then have wet necks from all their play biting and mouthing!
My Dog Loves More: For some reason, Bean has decided that I am his favorite human in the house. (This makes my hubby a little jealous) If I leave for 10 minutes or 10 hours, he acts like he hasn’t seen me in days. He gets so excited and needs to kiss me and lick my whole face. He also needs lots of love in return in the form of hugs, belly rubs and treats!
My Dog Wags More: When dogs are happy- their tail wags. Bean is happy all the time. He doesn’t get mad, he just sits and wags and waits for you to pay attention to him. The saying “Wag more, Bark less” is one of my favorites. Bean wags more than the average dog. He is happy just to be next to you or next to his puppy friends!
My Dog Works More: Bean doesn’t like to miss out on anything- even work. As a Border Collie, he takes his herding instincts very seriously. He stares down our German Shepherd while she plays Frisbee. He also enjoys dragging my son around by the pant leg to take him where he wants to go. One way we encourage him to gain confidence and learn better manners is with training with Milk-Bone treats! He will do just about anything for a treat. He thinks training is fun! They do say Border Collies need a job to do, or they will find one that you may not like. It’s true- but we focus his energy on play and training, rather than letting him herd the neighborhood kids!
All that work and play makes our pups very sleepy. A tired dog is a good dog!
