Friendship is a powerful bond between 2 people that lasts a lifetime! I have been lucky to have many friends locally and some all around the US. Many of those friendships are stronger and closer than the ones I make with local friends. The story I’m going to tell you is about a friendship with a blogger friend that works both ways- she has gone above and beyond for me and I have done the same for her. That is what Friendship is after all, right?
Both of us work full time and run a profitable blog. We know how important it is to keep up with the blog, even when we are sick, in a crisis or just on vacation. Unfortunately, she had to have surgery that would diagnose her with cancer AGAIN. She was out of commission for days and needed help keeping her blog going. I stepped in and kept things going on the blog front, which I would do for many of my blogger friends. But, I also spent time taking up money to help her pay for expenses while she was out of work. No, I didn’t have to do that, but I wanted to. We sent her flowers and a large chunk of paypal Cash.
And, she never lets me down when I need her. When I was getting overwhelmed with work and my blog and some personal issues, I called her and unloaded my to-do list on her. She actually did a few projects for me- one being a video that I had been dreading for weeks. She didn’t hesitate and even wanted to do more. I am so lucky so have a great friendship with Kristin!
Now, about cottage cheese, I have always loved cottage cheese and I have convinced a few people to try it and they do love it now. One such person was my son. He was a very picky eater when he was younger. He didn’t like many meats or veggies so I was concerned he wasn’t getting enough protein. I convinced him to try cottage cheese with fruit in it (he loved those mandarin oranges) and he was hooked. To this day, he and I still love cottage cheese! Now, trying to get my hubby to learn to love cottage cheese is a different story.
