My Thoughts:
Our well water is high in iron and having a water filter is a necessity. Even with a whole house water softener system, we still have lots of iron left in our water. We have been using the Berkey Shower Filter for about a week and I love the difference it makes. The iron makes your skin dry and I have noticed how much better my skin and hair feels with the new filter! It makes my hair feel softer and easier to manage too.
My husband installed it very easily. (It did come with a shower head, but we love our rainshower so we only installed the filter.)
