Potty Training Simplified For Parents, Made Super Fun For Kids!
If you have a toddler, you know very well that potty training is probably the hardest thing to successfully accomplish in these younger years. It seems like just when you think they’re finally ready, they aren’t. And just when you think the “training” is over, it isn’t. Training tiny little humans learn to use the potty is hard work!
When my son started nearing age 2, I had just had my daughter so the diaper changing was getting overwhelming! I kept asking myself “when can we start potty training?!”. It was a rough road potty training him, but with my daughter, I am determined to make this as fun as possible! She started giving me signs, like taking off her diaper and running in the bathroom. But she just really didn’t have the desire to use the potty. And trust me, we have tried candy and potty charts galore, but they just weren’t working for us.
Tot on The Pot is an exciting new way to help toddlers learn to love going on the potty. It comes with a Tot and a Pot, which is a doll and a little potty for the doll to sit on. There is also an adorable book to read to them. It explains how the body works, in toddler terms, and that everyone goes! There’s a reward system that goes with it for when they successfully use the potty with Tot on The Pot.
My daughter absolutely loves her doll (tot), which brought her excitement to sit on her potty just like her new doll does. She has actually been sitting on her training potty much more frequently. Today as she was sitting on her potty with her Tot by her side, she went potty for the first time! So far I would say we are making a lot progress. She loves for us to read the book while she’s sitting on her pot.
Every little one is different, and using the potty can seem scary to them, but this system helps them feel safe and happy. When their little Tot friend is along side with them, it makes them feel as though they won’t have to stop playing with their toys to go potty. It has made her so excited about potty training and I am confident we will continue down the road to success with Tot on The Pot!
