THE BEST Crock Pot Chicken Gravy Recipe
Fall is FINALLY here y’all! I couldn’t be happier! Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. The temperatures are fabulous and the days get shorter which means more time with my people to play games and veg out. I don’t know about you, but the last thing I want to do when I can manage to get our busy family together is spend that time in the kitchen. Fall weather is crock pot weather at my house. And this Crock Pot Chicken Gravy is the bomb!
Ingredients:
- 3-4 Boneless chicken breasts
- 1 Jar of Chicken Gravy
- 1 Teaspoon of Smoked Paprika
- 1 Teaspoon of Garlic Salt
- 10 Pieces of Bacon
- 1 Cup of Heavy Cream
That’s it. I’ll just bet you’ve got all of that in your kitchen right now! No excuses! Get the crock out and fill it up! You can have your dinner cooking in 7 minutes flat! Ahhhhh……
Easy Peasy Instructions:
Layer chicken in the bottom of crock. (I like to spray my crock with some oil before just to keep it from sticking)
Sprinkle Paprika and salt over chicken
Spread Chicken Gravy over chicken
Set that timer to High for 5 hours and let the crock do it’s magic
I used a potato masher to “shred” the chicken and it worked great. Just mash to your desired consistency.
When you’re ready to serve heat the bacon, crunch it up and add to chicken gravy
Pour one cup of heavy cream
Serve over mashed potatoes or rice with a side of your favorite veggie and ENJOY! So rich in flavor!
