Get in The Zone #review

September 13, 2017 by Pam Maynard

To diet is a special course of food to which one restricts oneself, either to lose weight or for a medical reason. You can also think of your diet as the kinds of food that a person, animal or community habitually eats. Lifestyle change is another phrase that goes along with dieting, but in the case of Dr. Sears and his Zone diet, his main goal would be overall health and reducing inflammation.

Dr. Barry Sears is a leading authority on the dietary control of hormonal response. Formerly a research scientist at the Boston University School of Medicine and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Sears has spent the last 30 years studying lipids. His research led him to research using food to regulate issues for cardiovascular, neurological and diabetic patients. He then published a book called The Zone, starting his work in the dietary control of hormonal response.

The Zone is more than just eating certain foods. Sears has developed a line of supplements, foods, and books that are all designed for making people healthier, helps them shed excess pounds and reduce the risk of chronic disease. This is all in an effort to help people live a longer, healthier, fuller life.

This is not a diet. This is a lifestyle change, a dietary program based on strong science to reduce diet-induced inflammation.

First you Eat in the Zone. Balance your plate at every meal with one-third protein the size and thickness of your palm, two thirds colorful fruit and vegetable carbs and a dash of fat. Second, use ultra-refined omega 3 fatty acid fish oil and polyphenol extract to boost your anti-inflammatory level of performance. Then you optimize wellness by achieving your personal health goals by reducing inflammation, lose fat, improve athletic performance and slow your rate of aging.

Zone Bars contain 16 grams of protein and suppress hunger for up to 3 hours. They help your mind stay sharp, controlled release nutrition helps you stay mentally and physically sharp. They also help get your protein. They contain as much protein as a three egg white omelet.

MaquiRx is a 100% Maqui berry extract containing highly purified delphinidin extract, the most water soluble polyphenols known. These have a unique ant-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties that work by activating the key enzyme AMP kinase that controls metabolism, increases chemical energy production and slows down the aging process.

So many other products have been designed to help you improve your overall quality of life. The Zone and Dr. Sears is a very smart and well-developed diet.
