A Cool Way to Organize for School: The Homework Caddy
Organization is not that easy for everyone. Some people are just naturally organized, whereas some of us have to really work hard at it. I tend to function in a state of chaos, where I know where things are, but lack a good system. However with our home-school, I need to have good systems in place. Since I have three children, they also need to organize their stuff. After-all I cannot follow behind all three to get what they need to turn in. I really just do not have the time or energy for that. Therefore The Homework Caddy is a fabulous solution to help my three stay organized, and on top of their schooling.
About The Homework Caddy
The Homework Caddy is an innovative solution to get rid of all the papers, school projects, and books that accumulate on surfaces of the home. It was created by a mother of three who wanted to solve the problem of clutter with a design that specifically addresses all the organization needs of most school kids. It takes up little space and was made to fit on the back of most standard closet or bedroom doors. Now children can hang, file, and organize their stuff in a normally unused place in their rooms leaving the counters, and tables clear for normal life.
Features
The Homework Caddy has:
- A magnetic dry erase calendar and space for notes
- A dry erase marker with a pocket to hold it
- Four large pockets with labels
- Plastic covered pocket to slide a schedule or lunch menu behind
- Two pockets for pens, pencils, erasers, glue, scissors, or other miscellaneous supplies
- Velcro straps on the bottom for poster board project storage
- Two hooks to hang it
Mom’s Thoughts
I love the colors on The Homework Caddy. You can get a bright vivid boy variety with prime colors that just pop out at you. My sons both have this hanging in their rooms. They were able to label the pockets and make the caddy their own. Their schedule of classes fits perfectly in the clear pocket in the middle. My daughter has the Zebra one. It is hot pink and the zebra pocket is fuzzy, which she loves. She put her journal in the dark navy pocket and has a few pockets left to fill. Instead of her schedule going in the clear pocket, she slid a glitter initial in it. There is also a pretty pastel girl version. Since we just started school my three are being very neat with their caddies. Hopefully they will continue this organized life style.
Not only is this a great help for homework, but it would be so helpful for home offices and small businesses. Wherever organization needs to happen, The Homework Caddy is the cool solution.
