When we had our first child, we lived in a one bedroom apartment. The baby’s “nursery” was a bassinet in the corner of our room, and a drawer cleared out in our dresser for her clothes. We certainly didn’t need a baby monitor, since we could see her from almost any spot in the apartment! Our current house is spacious with a split floor plan, and recently brought home our third child. We are starting the transition from bassinet next to our bed to a crib in the room he shares with his brother on the other side of the house. Consequently, we want to make sure that he isn’t crying in the middle of the night, since we wouldn’t be able to hear him! We found peace of mind with Hanwha Techwin BabyView Video Monitoring System!
About Hanwha Techwin
Hanwha Techwin America (formerly Samsung Techwin) is a precision technology company that offers video surveillance products including IP cameras, storage devices and management software founded on world-class optical design, manufacturing and image processing technologies.
One look at the Hanwha Techwin BabyView Video Monitoring System, and I knew the company that created it was well versed in video surveillance technology. From the sleek design to the crisp video quality and myriad features, this baby monitor is something every mom needs to keep an eye on her baby!
My Review
Every mom can relate to waking up in the middle of the night in a panic, wondering if baby is still breathing and sleeping peacefully. Hanwha Techwin anticipated this need, and equipped the BabyView Video Monitor with night vision. Parents can check on baby without waking him or her up. We loved checking on baby to see how he was sleeping, then using the remote pan and tilt feature on the touch screen monitor to watch our toddler sing himself to sleep.
If you’re like me, and still need to sneak into the baby’s room to nurse in the middle of the night, you’ll appreciate the built-in night light. You can control the light on the camera itself, or with the touch screen monitor. I appreciate this feature, since my 2 year old shares a room with the baby. I didn’t want to wake him up, but still needed a tiny bit of light.
We use white noise machines in our children’s rooms, but I was still excited to find out that the BabyView video monitor has preprogramed lullabies. This will come in handy when we’re traveling, so we don’t have to pack both devices. You can also use your smartphone as a monitor, which makes it even more convenient for travel situations!
Favorite Feature
Perhaps my favorite feature of the Hanwha Techwin BabyView Video Monitoring System, though, is the daily photo diary! All you need is a micro SD card to take a daily photo of your sweetie. I’m definitely a “momtographer,” so I can’t wait to see the progression of daily pictures!
This product is perfect for any parent who is looking for peace of mind when moving their baby to the crib in his or her own room. I feel just as connected to my baby as when he was in a bassinet next to my bed, and no longer get up to check on him multiple times a night.
