It’s Summer Time and with summer comes lots and lots of barbecues. But during this grilling season, many people ask themselves, ‘How do I get flavor in my meats, fish and veggies while grilling?’ Char Crust Seasonings has the answer to that age-old question.
Char Crust Seasonings are dry rubs (meaning that you don’t just sprinkle the seasonings, you rub it on to make a crust of sorts. They are so fast and easy to use. There is no marinating, just rub and grill (or bake, or sear, or fry or whatever your heart’s desire).
My husband is an actual chef. Some people say that they are too, but he’s been schooled. And one thing we know is good barbecue, good grilled meat and how to season food. Trust me when I say, we tried ALL of the seasonings sent to us. He tasted them before seasoning the raw meat. We smelled them and then we grilled with them.
The first night we had them, I unloaded the box of Char Crust seasonings and discovered that there was small sample packs of a few of them so we could try them out. I sprinkled the seasonings on pork chops. Well, I chose four different samples and seasoned four different pork chops, threw them in the oven and waited until they were cooked. I would have loved to have put them on the grill to add that smoky flavor that is so delicious, but this gave me a more pure flavor of the seasonings because it didn’t have the smoke.
We decided that our favorite was the Java Buzz. It has a cinnamon-ish smell and it gave the meat a wonderful flavor. I also like the All American Barbecue and Original Hickory Grilled. We aren’t into spicy food. He likes some things like Mexican-themed meals spicy, but heat never agreed with me. He enjoyed the Amazin’ Cajun and the more Asian Ginger Teriyaki.
Finding the right seasonings for seasoning you food is pretty important. After all, this is the food you are choosing to EAT. With Char Crust Seasonings, there is a variety of rubs that will make your taste buds excited and your mouth water.
