Yellowberry Bras, Made For Girls
When your daughter needs her first bra, it should be a special right of passage. At the same time her first bra should be comfortable and cute, not padded and all grown up. Since most bras in the stores aim to enlarge chests, turn to Yellowberry to make her first bra memorable and just right for her.
About Yellowberry
The founder of Yellowberry, is Megan, who was only 17 when she created this company to help young girls find appropriate bras. Her sister needed a bra, and they could not find any in stores. Since Megan did not want her little sister to have to grow up to fast, she created Yellowberry for her and all the girls out there. Her goal is to make a colorful, unique bar that is made for all girls to enjoy and love their youthful, yellow stages in life.
Each bra is made with a statement sewn into them and on the tag. These cute, and wise values were inspired by Megan’s other sister, who was sadly passed at age 5. Her memory lives on in these statements, and her short life showed Megan the importance of taking time to be youthful.
The Statements include:
- Campfires are rare; eat as many marshmallows as you can.
- Go barefoot
- Watch quietly and observe
- Water the flowers everyday
- Love the outdoors and nature
- Seek and find a hug when you need one
Our Special Experience
When you order Yellowberry Bras for your daughter the special experience begins when the box arrives at your house. It is in a cute brown box tied with a nice quality yellow ribbon. It comes with inspirational sayings on cards for her to read, and they have pretty pictures on the other side. Then when she opens that box, her bras are individually wrapped in yellow tissue paper. It was real exciting to watch my daughter open her present.
The Meadow Collection
She got three bras from the Meadow Collection, and tried them on immediately. They all fit perfect and were soft and comfortable to wear. We ordered the Aspen bra in Huckleberry color, the Tuli bra in Snowflake, and the Lola bra in Raindrop. She was very particular on which she liked best. She loves the Raindrop color the best and the straps on the Lola because they are thiner and easier to conceal under clothes. The back on her Tuli bra was her favorite, and she thinks it is real pretty. The Aspen is bulky to her, but would be excellent for more support, or when playing sports.
Here you can see the clasp on her Lola bra. I thought this detail was so cute. After a few tries she was able to clasp it all by herself. The other two styles just slip over her head. Every Yellowberry bra has the cute Yellowberry icon on it somewhere. This icon represents the stage where a berry is not ripe yet, but in its yellow phase. That is where our young girls should be. There is no rush to grow up, and we need to help them stay sweet and innocent as long as they are able. my daughter needing a bra should not equal her trying to be old beyond her years.
My daughter is a sweet, treasure that I want to stay a little girl for as long as possible. This world wants them to grow up way to fast, but companies like Yellowberry are here help her in the stage she is right now. Their bras are 95% cotton and washable so she is supported and covered in comfort. Life is already way to fast. Slow it all down and ” Go Barefoot!”
