I’m not sure who had more fun- the dogs or Justin and me! Sydney loved the lights in the ball and followed it around and even tried to chew it. Yes, it is dog-proof! She only scratched it a bit with her teeth, but if it can go in water, it can definitely take a few seconds of doggie love!
My Favorite Things about SPRK+
Coding has always been so simple for my son- after all, he grew up building MODs on Minecrafts, coding for different assignments at school and many other things. SPRK+, aka Sparky, is so easy to use, I didn’t even think about the fact that I was coding. It’s simple enough for beginners (like me) but sophisticated enough for experts (like my son). Lightning Lab empowers ANYONE to program their robot. I was able to click and drag the blocks and get Sparky on the move and teasing the dogs in less than 5 minutes. Of course, I wasn’t very good at randomly moving him around like my son was, but it was so much fun and rewarding to see the product of my code!
Programming made Easy!
The visual block-based programming app makes the basic principles of coding approachable and fun! You can toggle to the text-based viewer for a more advanced understanding of the C-based language. I will stick to the block-based programming. I guess it’s time I get with the program 🙂
The possibilities are ENDLESS with the SPRK+ robot! You can make mazes for it to solve, solar systems, paint with Sparky, use him in water and even use it as a Magic 8 Ball or Disco Light!
