Ways to Relax with The Spice Lab
The daily race of life is grueling, and sometimes we need to just take a break and relax. Since one of my favorite relaxation techniques is a warm soothing bath, The Spice Lab is a perfect partner. The Himalayan Sea Salts make my baths very relaxing, as well as beneficial. As a mom when I can kill two birds with one stone, I am super happy. For the times where sneaking away to a bath is not optional, I can enjoy a nice hot cup of gourmet tea from The Spice Lab. The Spice Lab is a woman owned business that is family run. It offers the widest selection of sea salts from a single source. The Spice Lab began from a homemade Christmas gift in 2009 and that sparked it all. Brett Cramer, a technology entrepreneur handcrafted a wooden base to hold test tubes full of exotic sea salts from around the world. His wife Jennifer thought his creation was a great start to a company. She was able to get into the gourmet gifts business and it has been growing ever since.
The Dead Sea Salt Bath Soak and the Lemon Citrus Sea Salt Bath Soak both were so relaxing and refreshing. The key is to let the salt dissolve, then soak in it for 20-30 minutes. This time passes great with a book, or a prayer to God. Then The Spice Lab suggests to not rinse off or use soap. Next get out and air dry, so that the minerals can penetrate your skin. These soaks will renew you and are healing and soothing. The Dead Sea salt has great healing properties. It is rich in magnesium, calcium, potassium, and bromides, which relax muscles and replenish the body’s natural minerals. The Lemon Soak has the sea salt as well as lemon oil and tumeric. Therefore it naturally cleanses the skin and relieves stress while restoring nutrients.
Since I already like a bath to restore sanity to my chaotic world, these bath soaks are a perfect addition. Now as I relax in my warm tub, I have the added benefits of needed minerals and nutrients. I feel so good after a bath with these salts. They are a natural way to help aches, pains, and sore muscles. Most noteworthy is you will not feel slimy or perfumed after. It is such a natural feeling, and I enjoy it.
The Cherry Blossom Tea from The Spice Lab is a refreshing blend that is perfect to take your mind on a little vacation. It has a hint of tart cherries mixed with safflowers, and black tea. In addition to great taste, the tea has healthy benefits due to the safflowers. The Cherry Blossom Tea tastes good hot or iced. I have thoroughly enjoyed this tea, and have several others I want to try. I am highly impressed with all the exotic flavors of tea offered. My list of flavors to try is fairly long. An idyllic afternoon for me is some nice iced Cherry Blossom Tea beside me while I soak in a bath full of Lemon Citrus Sea Salt Soak.
