I think last month was the only time I was looking forward to my monthly P-maggedon (that’s what Cybele calls it) so I could try my new pain-fighting panties! Well, they are more like Spandex bike shorts, but you wear them like undergarments. Heat is one of the best ways to ease cramps- that’s why Cybele is such a great product! They are more than undergarments, they have pockets to hold heat packs! There is one in the back and one in the front and 2 little pockets on the back of the thighs. The Cybele package comes with two heating pads that are microwavable. They fit perfectly into the front and back pockets.
After I heated up the heating pads and placed them in the pockets (it’s easier to do this BEFORE you put them on) I sat down to relax and let the heat do the work. It felt so cozy- like a wrap around heating pad on a cold winter day. Not only did it reduce my cramping pain, it also helped me relax.
The only thing I had trouble with was walking with the Cybele shorts on. I think if I had a smaller size, it wouldn’t feel like the heat packs were bagging my shorts down. They didn’t fit snug enough to keep the heat packs in the proper place.
Overall, I loved the pain relief from the Cybele shorts. I didn’t need to take any Alleve or Advil at all. The heating pads heat up very quickly in the microwave and you can use them over and over again.
Be sure to order a size smaller than what you would normally wear and you will love them! These would make a great gift for that lady in your life that suffers from painful cramps every month!
