Carry Your Baby to Toddlerhood with the Beco 8 Baby Carrier #Review

April 26, 2017 by Pam Maynard

The thing about being a mom is that no matter how big your baby gets, they still want their mommy. My daughter is practically another body part. Seriously, I can’t even walk into the other room without her wanting to be held and clinging to me.

About Beco

The Beco design evolved from founder Gabby Caperon’s own experience with her son, Duke. Gabby wanted to keep her baby close, without limiting where she could go or what she could do. She found a broken sewing machine, fixed it up and learned how to sew in just three weeks! The Beco Baby Carrier continues to be a first class real-time tested product, with the best interest of both parent and child in mind.

My Thoughts

I know that these years are short and eventually she will be slamming doors in my face as screams how unfair life is (teenagers anyone)? What I love about the Beco 8 is how it gives me the ability to carry my baby with ease! Here are some of the great features of the Beco 8.

About Beco 8 Baby Carrier

It is versatile for my growing baby

Beco 8 is designed to carry a growing baby from 7 pounds up to 45 pounds. So, when I wanted to go on walks with my older boys when my daughter was a newborn, I could easily put on my baby carrier and have her facing me as we went on our walks. As she got older, I could have her facing out so she could see the world around her. Now that she is getting into the toddler years, I can use the Beco 8 to hold her on the side without putting a ton of pressure on my hips.

It has Pockets!

As a mom, pockets are fantastic. The Beco 8 has a zippered pocket which made it easy to carry keys, pacifiers, and other items without carrying an extra bag or purse. When you have 4 kids, you want to limit the number of items you have to carry.

Built-in Pillow

Okay, maybe it isn’t quite a pillow, because that would be a little cumbersome, but the Beco 8 has a built-in padded headrest and sleeping hood. I don’t know about you, but if my kids don’t get their naps, they are bears. With the padded headrest and sleeping hood, my daughter could slip into dreamland no matter where I was.

Beco

The only regret I have about the Beco 8 is that I didn’t have one with my previous 3 kids. The Beco 8 Baby Carrier has definitely been a lifesaver to a mom with 4 kids, and I would recommend it to any mom with a family big or small!
