About Bright Endeavors
Bright Endeavors transforms the lives of young moms. They teach young mothers living in poverty to craft premium soy candles. They are trained in a supportive, professional environment which provides guidance and job skills needed to secure quality employment. Since most of these moms have grown up in an atmosphere full of trials and strife, where good role models are hard to find, this program is a huge help. Due to their rocky beginnings they often begin their parenting journey without a diploma, work experience, or a means to provide for her children. With Bright Endeavors each candle sold, helps lives to be transformed.
I think it is wonderful that this company is making a difference in the lives of young moms. Most noteworthy is that they are creating a future for these ladies with job skills and a sense of self worth. I love candles and I am happy to use a candle hand made by fellow mothers out there trying to make a better life for their families. After all isn’t that really what we are all trying to do? Thank you Sade and Chrissy for hand making my candles. Since each box is signed by the mother who made it, you know who you are directly helping.
I ordered Lime Lemongrass, Vanilla Honey, and Lavender Sprig candles. In addition to the pretty boxes, all three of my soy candles smell amazing. Though I love them all, the Vanilla Honey is my favorite. Since it has such a delicious smell, I really want to eat it. All the Bright Endeavor candles are lead free and phthalates free which is great. No need to pollute the air while we try to make it smell nice. These candles are in an 11 ounce glass jar, and they burn for 40 hours each. Their slogan on the box is nice, and says “Light a candle, Transform a life.” Furthermore 100% of the proceeds go to support their mission of helping mothers. Since I love burning candles it is nice to know that other mothers who might not have the same opportunities as me, are benefiting.
