Have you tried traveling with your preschooler yet? A few years ago my family caught the travel bug and started taking off as often as possible. During our breaks, we realized our preschoolers are much more engaged, happier, and learned more when we were traveling than they did at home. In all, exploring new places really made a positive impact on their whole being.
While we can’t cross the country every month, there is someplace we can go that will allow our children to see the World, from right here at home, Walt Disney World® Resort! Walt Disney World® Resort is my kids’ favorite place, especially those littles of mine! They love when the cast takes the time to talk to them and share insider tips about wherever we are in the park(s). It makes them feel like they are special, or as my daughter tells me “She feels like a princess!”
I think it is important for all families to take advantage of this special time with their children when they are young, because they will never be more excited to see Cinderella’s Castle or watch a fantasy Parade than they are right now! Sure, my teens might smile and enjoy being there, but my baby girl will get up and dance with the cast at the pool party, and squeal with glee each time she spots one of her favorite Characters in real life! The amount of excitement and happiness that my preschoolers have for Walt Disney World® Resort is 1000% worth the trip! Because when they are genuinely happy, so am I!
SO AM I!
I admit, I’m a huge Walt Disney World® Resort fan myself, but I have never enjoyed it more than I do with my preschoolers. Seeing their happy faces, watching them jumping with joy, listening to them talk about their trip for days is what makes ME happy. Being able to give that kind of experience to them is the greatest gift for myself. I still remember the first time my daughter experienced Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid; she thought Ariel was real and started squealing “I knew she was real! I knew it! I knew it! I knew it!”
