Follow Me Down by Sherri Smith will have you captivated from the minute you crack the cover. This is the first book I’ve read from her and typically, I like romance stories. This one has family, suspense, murder and so much more that you immediately are hooked.
Follow Me Down is the story of Mia and her twin brother, Lucas. Mia doesn’t live in her hometown anymore and when she receives a call from the town’s police chief asking her if she had talked with Lucas recently, she knew something was off.
Lucas is a high school teacher, a former “golden boy” of the town and now missing. The same day he is discovered missing, his student, Joanna (whom he was rumored to be sleeping with) is found dead.
Where is Lucas and what happened to make him disappear? Mia decides that since the cops didn’t listen to her about what she knows about her brother, she is going to investigate herself. Her brother couldn’t have committed this murder and she was going to prove it. She was also going to find her missing brother and get to the bottom of it all.
This is one story that you won’t want to put away until you finish it. It’s that captivating!
