Super Easy Cup Crafts for Kids!
If you need a fun craft to do for Valentine’s Day or any day and you have some Solo cups hanging around, try these fun Cup Creature Crafts!
Here is the list of supplies I used:
- Solo Cups
- Construction paper
- Scrapbook paper
- Googly Eyes
- Buttons
- Chalkola Markers
- Glue Gun
- Glue Stick
- Scissors
- Other embellishments for hair, noses, hands and feet
If you want to make Cup Crafts for St. Patrick’s Day, you will want to change your colors. Get a Green Solo Cup and use black, green and yellow Construction paper.
If you are making the Red Cup Silly Heart Man, start by cutting out 4 hearts- 2 different sizes and glue them together with the glue stick. Next, glue a googly eye in the center of each heart.
Cut 4 strips of construction paper (I used pink) and fold them accordion-style, back and forth. Cut out 4 more hearts, smaller sized ones for the hands, larger ones for the feet. I used purple for those.
Glue the hand hearts and feet hearts to the end of the folded arms and legs.
Use the glue gun and attach the arms and legs to the cup. The legs I attached to the inside of the rim of the cup.
Attach the heart eyes to the cup and a button for the nose. Then use markers to make the perfect smile for your Silly Heart Man.
Pose him and enjoy! Share him with your loved ones! Why buy a boring Valentine’s Day card if you can give someone this super cute Silly Heart Man. Feel free to add a fun message on your creation!
Since we are really hoping spring arrives soon, I made a Spring Flower Person as well. I only had clear solo cups left so I wrapped the cup in Scrapbook paper and glued it on.
I used ribbon for the arms with flowers for hands.
I also used Flowers for the eyes. I found a pretty sticker to put around the rim of the cup to to make it more colorful
For the legs- I used the same scrapbook paper and folded the strips just like I did for the Silly Heart Man. I attached leaves for the feet.
I also added a fun sprout of hair from the shredded confetti packing material. Get creative- use whatever makes you happy!
