We are one week into our December Holiday baking and I have to tell you, I’m bombing! I think I’m trying to do too much at once because I have managed to burn a few sheets of cookies, completely failed a recipe, and ruined a pan of blondies! My goal for this week is to stop trying to squeeze it in and make it more of a focus. I’m going to set aside a few hours each day AND enlist the help of my littles while I’m at it. Since they will be the highlight of my day, I have chosen twenty recipes this week that the kids will LOVE! What can be more fun than baking a few Christmas trees, reindeer, and candy canes? Get ready for a full week of holiday fun!

Last month I was playing around with Hot Chocolate and Cookies, but Big Bear’s Wife has me beat! Not only do her cookies taste like hot chocolate, but they look adorable too! I’m secretly in love with the sprinkles she used. Aren’t they cute?
Repeat after me: “Everything is better with sprinkles!”

My kids really love candy canes, but they are such a chore for me to watch them with. They want to run with them, bite them, all sorts of stuff that is just dangerous and scary for me to watch. I think The Kitchen is My Playground has a great alternative for me. With her Candy Cane Cookies, they can enjoy the candy canes they love, in a cookie!
