Are You Ready For A Deep Sea Volcano Adventure?
If your mornings are anything like mine, they start with breakfast and flipping on the Disney Channel. I have a three year old son who isn’t anything short of obsessed with most all Disney shows. One of his favorites though is Octonauts. He loves exploring with each deep sea adventure they go on in each episode. He participates fully when the characters involve him to help them and sing along.
When we got the chance to go to see Octonauts Live, I could not wait to take him. I longed to see the look on his face when he saw the characters come to life right in front of his eyes. This was his first live show and he was mesmerized the entire show. We walked in with much anticipation to get our VIP tickets for the show and the Octonauts Explorer Party. My son was so proud of his VIP tag he wore around his neck, he was flashing it at everyone with excitement.
As the characters came on stage so enthusiastically, it was like he thought he was in a dream. He couldn’t keep his eyes off of their every move while they performed. Participating in steering the Octopod and helping them on their quest with so much energy.
The Octonauts Live cast did an amazing job at keeping the entire crowd of kids and parents entertained. I thought the show was a great length, running about 90 minutes with a 15 minute intermission. They also had souvenirs available for purchase, a bit pricey, but of course we had to get one. My son picked out a Captain Barnacles stuffed animal, since he has a slight major stuffed animal obsession.
After the show, we headed up to the Octonauts Live Explorer party. My son didn’t know this was coming and when we walked into the room full of games and fun, he was ecstatic! They had little stations for the kids for coloring, a photo booth, and a snack table to name a few. They had balloons on the floor that was a big hit for the little kids. We took some photos in the Interactive Octopod photobooth and played for a bit. Then, my son enjoyed a snack before the big meet and greet with Captain Barnacles and Tweak. He even got a certificate making him an honorary Octonaut!
When it was finally our turn to take a photo with the Octonauts duo, he was in awe as he high fived them and observed every inch of them. We met the characters and took a few pictures before making our departure. We thanked everyone and my son was waving to everyone as we left.
On the car ride home, he couldn’t stop talking about the show as he snuggled with his Captain Barnacles stuffed animal. This was an amazing experience for the entire family, and I would highly recommend this for every family. Check out their website to go to show near you, you’ll thank me!
