Sleep is an Essential Building Block for Children’s Health and Academic Success #ad

Sleep is an essential building block for children’s academic success.

Did you know that students with grades of C, D, or E averaged 25 to 30 minutes less sleep per weeknight than their classmates who achieved A’s or B’s? When I read that statement in an article recently, I was astonished. Is sleep really that important?

After more research on the topic, I’d have to say yes. Let’s face it. A lot of children are not getting enough sleep and many suffer from sleep issues. Sleep, along with proper diet and exercise is one of the 3 building blocks for living healthily and having a well balanced life. The proper amount of sleep can improve immune function, concentration, memory, productivity and even help maintain a healthy weight.

As a homeschool parent, I play the role of teacher and mommy. I must admit that when my children stay up too late, and yes, it’s usually “30 more minutes mom!” they do poorly the next day in school. It affects their emotions and social interaction with one another.

Children with irregular sleep times are 6 times more likely to display hyperactive behaviors. Irregular sleep patterns and/or insufficient sleep are associated with an increase in the number of medical appointments among children and adolescents.

What if I told you there is a way to improve your entire family’s sleep all while making your home a healthier place? I’ve discovered a new product that will do just that. hugOne is an innovative way to safely monitor sleep phases, as well as temperature, humidity and air quality. Amazing, right?

It is remarkable how this compact unit with tiny sensors carefully tracks your sleep, wakes you up during the perfect time of your sleep cycle, as well as monitors and improves your overall sleep experience.

I must admit that I’m impressed with the environmental sensors that track indoor air quality. hugOne will maintain the perfect bedroom environment and will notify you if the air quality in your home needs attention. That gives me peace of mind knowing that the air we breathe during sleep or while awake is being monitored. It’s just another perk of this one of a kind product!
