National Geographic has always been a news source that wants to inform. I personally love to learn about places and things that are not local to me. Nat Geo Kids takes this teaching to a new level by focusing on what interests kids and teaching them in a way that keeps them entertained.
Books for me is the ultimate learning source. I can take a book, read it and walk away with more knowledge than I started with. Nat Geo Kids shares so many different topics with our children that it’s impossible to not get excited.
Real or Fake?:
This small book is perfect to take on car trips or send to your favorite mini adult. The way Emily Krieger presents facts (or non-facts) will keep you guessing as to what is real and what is fake. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and now like to try and stump my co-workers with fun stories they are challenged with dubbing Fake or Real?
National Geographic Kids Almanac 2017:
National Geographic Kids Almanac 2017 is filled with fun fact and amazing information. I’ve always read the farmer’s almanac, but this one is geared towards our youngest generation. It has information on just about anything you can imagine from animals to space to ocean facts. It also tells about weather, rocks, body parts, cars, celebrities and so much more. It’ll be an interesting gift for the child who loves to learn.
Everything Sports:
This captivating book, Everything Sports, taught me a lot . For example, here in the United States, the south to be exact, Football is more than a sport. It’s a way of life. However, not every country is a fan. If you say football in Europe, you would be talking about soccer. Did you know that cricket has a much bigger fanbase than hockey, basketball or tennis? #eyeopener
If sports interests your child at all, this is the book to give them. There is so much information in it, and it’s not just American information. That’s what I love about Nat Geo. They want to share every country and every culture with the world. This book is no different. You will find facts about sports stars, where the sports originated, exactly what the sport is and so much more.
Master-Mind:
Time to get interactive. In the workbook, Master Mind, there are more than 100 games, tests and puzzles to keep your little one busy for hours, days, months! Not only is National Geographic sharing more fun facts, but they are having children test their knowledge while reading.
If your child like puzzles, learning fun information and keeping themselves occupied, this book is for them. It would even be great for homeschooling, summer reading fun, or even in a classroom setting.
No matter what your child is interested in, National Geographic will have something for them.
