Fads come and go. We all know this. Even when those that go are gone, Color It! will be around to allow anyone and everyone to participate in a calming activity. Color It! is the makers of adult coloring books, and not just any coloring books, there is something for everyone.
From a small child I have loved coloring. Even as a teenager, I would get a coloring book and color pictures of bunnies, houses, food or whatever I could get my hands on. I would get awful looks from my sisters, they would call me a baby, but I didn’t care. I have always loved coloring.
As a new mom, I would go and get the latest cartoon coloring book and with my kids, we would color in coloring books. My husband thought I was nuts, (as he does often) and I would explain to him how much I loved it. He didn’t get it then and still doesn’t get it now. However, my daughter gets it 100%!
How many times did I think that someone should come up with adult coloring books? I am totally honest with you when I say, coloring the Easter Bunny and Easter Baskets over and over again was not the most exciting activity of my life. However, I didn’t complain because, who would listen? I just colored Disney Princesses and Barbie Dolls because I really enjoyed it and I didn’t have any other options. This is exactly how Color It! began. The Co-Founder was coloring with her child and decided to come up with the Adult Coloring Book.
Not only does Color It! have beautiful, hand drawn pictures, they are printed in the highest quality of any other coloring book I have ever used. Each picture is printed on high weight paper, spirally bound (most are bound with a top wire spiral) and they are perforated so that you can frame them, if wanted.
You can also use markers to color with in Color It! coloring books. No, I’m not lying. The paper is very high quality and markers do not bleed through the paper onto the next picture. In all of the books I’ve colored in, I’ve never been able to use markers because they would ruin the next picture. Never AGAIN! I can now color with vibrant colors or I can go more muted with pencils.
Oh! And another thing…each book is different. You can color something intricate with small blocks and swirls, or you can color something with a more normal coloring book feel and have large spaces to color.
I love all of these books. My daughter and son have even gotten into them and have colored in each of the books. My daughter loves the places book, I like the story book type with larger spaces to color and my son, he likes the animals.
