Summer is one of the best times for kids to discover new interests that can become hobbies. Sending them to camp during the summer is a great way for parents to encourage their children to pick up new activities. Don’t go out and purchase a bunch of new gear for your child right away. Let them try new activities for a while before you make a substantial investment. Let the child show enjoyment in the hobby for a few months before you invest in a lot of expensive gear.
