The fall is one of my favorite seasons. I love decorating for the holidays and showcasing beautiful pumpkins everywhere. It’s an exciting time of year because it brings on change and can be the start of new phases in your life. One thing I don’t enjoy, however, is leaving behind my summer wardrobe. I am a hot-natured person and I love the light linens and colors of summer. Packing them away is always a little sad, so I try to incorporate whatever I can into my fall and winter wardrobe.

Another way to change things up is to maximize with accessories! During the summer, petite jewelry is preferred because they are less likely to create tan lines during daytime outings. Switching to chunky accent jewelry will break up the space caused by the lower neckline in your summer collection. More-so, if you live in a cooler climate, the fall means you can bring back your great scarf collection!
Do you love interesting prints?
I love adventurous prints but I find fashion doesn’t always showcase them in the fall. This year I’m already seeing a lot of traditional tartan and the classic animal prints featured in magazines, but I want more! I want this Elephant March Tank, with a great scarf, flowing cardigan, and tall brown boots! The layered look will allow me to love this tank a little longer.
That brings me to my last fashion tip for the upcoming weather changes — layers! Autumn brings cool mornings and warm afternoons. Wearing layers can keep you comfortable even when the weather has no idea what it is doing! As a bonus, you can still wear your favorite tank without looking out of place.
