Blake’s All Natural Foods Makes Pot Pies From Scratch Without Artificial Ingredients #Review #BlakesLove

Attention busy moms and dads! Don’t go through the drive thru tonight. Take home Blake’s instead. You won’t regret it!

Blake's

Blake’s All Natural Foods has recently debuted their new line of Turkey and Beef Pot Pies. These Pot Pies aren’t like most conventional pot pies, they are made from scratch, minimally processed, without artificial ingredients.

Beef Pot Pie

We recently had the opportunity to sample Blake’s new Turkey and Beef Pot Pies and WOW. Here is what my family had to say about them:

It’s like a turkey roast in a pie.

The turkey and gravy are delicious.

The crust is so flaky!

The beef is succulent, so tender without fat!

The vegetables (peas, carrots, and potatoes with skin) are so good. I love the big chunks of potatoes.

There is a lot of meat in these pot pies!

These comments are huge, especially coming from a 9, 11, and 14 year old. I was impressed, to say the least.

Turkey Pot Pie

Another thing that stood out to me was the crust covers the top of the pot pie. It doesn’t wrap around the entire contents of the pie. In other words, they are made without a bottom crust. This is a positive aspect, considering we are always trying to eat healthier and that includes less bread in our diet. This feature makes Blake’s lower in fat, sodium, and carbohydrates than most other pot pies.

What does made from scratch really mean?

It means that actual people prepare each meal in small batches. This ensures that we can control the quality of every aspect of our meals. Specifically, it means cooking the chicken ourselves in small batches, mashing real, whole potatoes (never potato flakes or instant potatoes), and using the actual stock from our chicken-cooking process to make our signature gravy. Made from scratch at Blake’s means the same thing it means at your home.  ~  Blake’s All Natural Foods

We are pleased to announce Blake’s new Turkey and Beef Pot Pies are now available exclusively at Meijers and Publix stores. Blake’s is anticipating expanding the new line to more stores later this summer and in early fall. You can pick up Blake’s other meals at most Target, Walmart, Kroger, Fresh Market, and Whole Foods stores.
