If you are trying to find something for Dad, that is unique and special, you need to to get him an AwesomeBox. This gift is the type that keeps on giving for years to come. I loved the idea as soon as I saw it. It ended up being so great to create the boxes I did. It was such an amazing feeling when I was able to see and hear the reactions the boxes caused.
With the age of technology, we often neglect the people we love. A quick text or post on Facebook, and we can check it off our list. How does a text make you feel? Although it is the thought that counts, your thought can mean so much more to someone with an AwesomeBox. This little box evokes huge feelings. I was able to create a special box for my husband for Father’s day and for my parents just to say how much I love them. The boxes come in several increments. You can give your special someone 10, 25, 50, 75, or 100 cards in their box. Each card is 5 1/4 inch square and fits perfectly in a 6 by 6 inch white box. That is covered with sleeve that you chose the picture for the front. The back shows all the pictures included
The box was very easy to make and you do not need to be a computer guru to accomplish it. For my husband’s box, I invited his parents, his brother, his uncle, and my parents to make a card or two. The Awesomebox site made this easy too. I entered in their emails, and the site sent them a message stating what was going on, and how they could add cards. My mother cannot get Facebook to work, but managed to add two cards just fine. The process is so simple- pick a picture and then add a message. You can choose to leave it as just a picture or as just a message. It can be silly, sentimental, romantic. Once you enter a message the card randomly picks a very pretty, graphic background. The colors and patterns vary, but all go together to create an epic AwesomeBox.
These cards above were the first things my husband saw when he opened his box. The AwesomeBox tells him he is awesome, and then tells how many helped to create his box of memories. The box is small enough to keep handy, so the person can get it out over and over and see how much they mean to you. My husband was speechless when he got his box. He is not a mushy man, but thanked me over and over again.
My mother on the other hand is very sentimental. I was not there when she got the AwesomeBox I made for her and my dad, but she called before she even let my dad see the cards. She was elated! She said she loved the box, and that was the sweetest thing. She said she laughed and cried through the pictures. I was told I was the best daughter, and she went on about how great I was. She was in on the AwesomeBox I made my husband, but did not realize it was a tangible thing. She thought he would just read the messages off the computer. She was so happy. I was all warm and fuzzy knowing how much her and my dad loved their gift. It was so much better than the same old present types. Giving a gift card just does not get the same reaction.
The sky is the limit for AwesomeBox! Father’s day, Mother’s day, birthdays, anniversaries, Graduation, wedding proposals, engagements, or new baby just to name a few. Really you can create an AwesomeBox for anything at all. Plus once the pictures are uploaded, it is only a week or so before the box is at the door.
This is a wonderful gift, that they will treasure for the rest of their lives. It meant the world to my parents, and my husband loved it too. It is now on his desk so he can look at it when he wants to.
