It’s Summer Time….well, almost. There is no place in the world that I love more than the beach. It makes me happy when I smell the salt in the air, hear the seagulls and see the waves. I have found the perfect beach blanket and it’s made by MIU COLOR.
Finding a blanket to take outside is difficult. Sure you can take out a quilt or a comforter, but they get so dirty so easily. MIU COLOR has blankets that are made to go outside. These canvas-like blankets are completely foldable, waterproof, sand resistant and can be carried in a beach bag or by the handle when it’s folded up.
I don’t camp, however, I love being out at the beach. We typically take a flat sheet out of the closet and take it down to the beach. They are thin and easy to shake out. That was until I was introduced to the MIU COLOR blankets. They amazed me!
When they arrived, I was excited because they were great patterns. The stripes and leaves are so vibrant. And, the fact that they fold up and can be carried with a nice handle, makes it that much easier to take on outings. The second thought was, ‘It’s raining and I want to use them!’
It just so happens that my daughter was having a friend over that night, so they picnicked inside! They ate their fish sitting on the wipeable MIU COLOR blanket. They loved the idea of eating inside on a picnic blanket.
The next morning, we took both blankets out to the beach to try them out. Although there was no way to keep the sand OFF the blanket (no, it didn’t come with a feet-wiping mat), it was so easy to wipe the sand off! It didn’t stick to the canvas on the bottom or the top, we were able to shake the sand off and refold them when it was time to leave.
While we were beaching…the girls enjoyed laying on the blankets in order to get a little sun. They also put all their stuff on them so they didn’t get sandy. Everyone that came with us commented about how they are so useful and easy to clean.
I can’t wait to take it outside when it’s not raining for a picnic. MIU COLOR Picnic Blankets would also be great for taking small children outside to play.
