Contain the Mess with Messmatz #Review

May 20, 2016 by Pam Maynard

MessMatz Are FUN to MESS UP!

I’m more than excited about a product I received recently. Messmatz are so neat and they leave me wondering why someone hasn’t thought of them before? What are they, you ask? They are large silicone mats that have a lip on them (to contain spills) and they are easily cleaned. Messmatz are perfect for anyone’s art project, young or old!

Let me back up. I’m a huge crafter which, if you want to direct that statement, I make very large messes that ruin furniture. Imagine a grown woman spilling paint on the coffee table and then wondering how I am going to clean it off…well, since I received my Messmatz, I don’t have to worry about anything getting on anything else because it’s covered!

I know, it really is silly for a woman to get this excited about something that newspaper could solve, but in the age of digital newspapers, the paper ones just aren’t here. AND, I must point out that newspaper and craft paper doesn’t stand up to water spills. I am really in love with these matz.

MM-review-1

Families with small children who love to play with play dough, no more squishy mushy clay in the carpets! Because the matz are made out of silicone, nothing sticks to it, not even paint! I know because I used my mat the first day to paint birdhouses.

Yes, paint got on my mat, but it came off with a little water and paper towel. What could be simpler than making a mess and the clean up be easy as wiping off the table? Remember I mentioned that the mat has a lip all the way around it? It holds in spills! What craft paper does that?!

I have used the mat on my craft table, my coffee table, my floor and in my kitchen. Messmatz are portable. They roll up, without leaving any creases, and slide right back in their box for easy storage and portability.

I can see mamas and daddies using these matz at craft time. Crayons won’t slide off tables or away from their babies. Watercolor painting with toddlers makes it easy clean up and less mess scattered…if most kids are like mine.

Messmatz are the greatest invention! I can’t believe no one has thought of this before because they solved all my messy crafting problems! I’m seriously thinking about gifting every new mom I know with one.

Check out Messmatz online for more information on them!
