Aromatherapy….what exactly does that mean and why is it good for you? Anjou has a portable oil diffuser that is also a humidifier. Essential oils are put into a diffuser and they are absorbed through inhalation. The oils promote well being naturally.
Ok, did any of that make sense? Probably not. Let’s try this again. Essential oils are derived from plants, being used as natural remedies for everything ranging from menstrual cramps to migraines.
Case in point: My daughter, who is 15 suffers from allergies like I’ve never seen. Her allergies have even helped her develop a pretty good case of asthma. Every time the weather changes, I can count on her to get sick. The other evening, she couldn’t get her inhaler to work, so I placed the Anjou Aromatherapy Diffuser in her room, put Peppermint and Eucalyptus oils in it, turned it on with the colors illuminating her room. By morning, her headache was gone and her breathing was not as labored. I’m not saying that she didn’t need her inhaler or her allergy meds, but it helped unclog her nose and her headache went away without medication. I still had to get her inhaler refilled, but it was with the help of the oils diffusing in her room, she slept much better. By the way, the oils are still going in her room because she has slept much better since they were started. Oh, and she likes the nightlight that is created from the diffuser.
I know that there are many different uses for essential oils and I know that you can put them in reed diffusers for room refreshing, but I honestly love my electric, color changing diffusers. The scent is immediately in the air, with the Anjou diffuser, it acts as a humidifier as well and that is just a bonus.
I love the shape of the Anjou Aromatherapy Diffuser. It kinda looks like a tear drop or a candy kiss. It makes for an interesting and usable piece of art sitting on a table or dresser. The unique design along with the color changing lights make this my favorite diffuser and just like all my favorite things, my daughter has claimed it for her own.
