The moment I saw the artwork for Who Lit The Moon I was excited. With vibrant colors and playful character design, I don’t know anyone who could not be excited by Maya Bocheva’s artwork for the app. She took the story and characters to a level of wonder that would be impossible to ignore. Bocheva’s artwork makes me want to know everything about Who Lit The Moon!
Our goal was to make a wonderfully painted cheerful story to present to children, of the highest possible quality, aiming to have detailed scenery and characters which are very much alive! They all move and can be moved around the screen, and they react differently when moved to different places. Everything in this tale squirms and wiggles and can be dragged across the screen or played with. ~ TAT Creative

After the first exploratory scene, children are taken into Thelma’s room to meet her grandmother and get a first look at “The Book of This and That.” But before grandmother will begin her story, Thelma’s room needs a little attention. Children/users are prompted to cleanup the room by placing common items where they belong (toys, books, brush, clothing, school supplies, and trash). After the room is tidy, the story begins…
