Show Off Your Winning Moves #Review

Show Off Your Winning Moves!

With electronics today, many families like to reconnect with each other over dinner, special events or even a simple game night. But with Winning Moves Games, classics like Rubix‘s, Clue, Chess and more can now be brought to your home along with new games such as  Brynk.

Winning Moves Games sent a lovely package to my family that included two different Rubix Cubes games, Clue, Brain Spin (a card game), No Stress Chess and Brynk. I wasn’t sure how my family would react to the games because we sometimes have to force the kids to sit down with the grownups and to teenagers, that’s just unacceptable. But with the games from Winning Moves, they are begging us to play with them!

I know it sounds like I’m making that up, but my son loves to play chess. No one else in the house besides my husband knows how to play it. When I received No Stress Chess, it was so easy and fun, the kids are fighting to play it.

“Winning Moves is a leading maker of board games, card games, and puzzles. Since our first year of operation in 1995, we have forged a close relationship with one of the world’s largest game companies, Hasbro, Inc., owner of Parker Brothers and Milton Bradley. As a result, many long-lived Parker Brothers and Milton Bradley games are now made exclusively by Winning Moves!”

Rubix Cubes are classic puzzles that stump anyone and everyone who tries to solve the cubed game. Well, Rubix has developed several varieties of their cubes and man-o-man are they fun. My son has picked up Rubix Twist and takes it everywhere with us. He is not bored anymore when he’s on car rides.

Brain Spin is a card game, sort of like Warshak (ink blot) tests except the cards have shapes on them. You have to tell each other what you see. It’s a neat little card game. It’ll stump you too which is great for the kids. It gets their minds thinking. I love that this game is like that. In fact, every game that we were sent is like that. They not only are fun, but they get a child (and adults too) thinking about their answers and their next move.

Clue is the classic game of a dinner mystery theatre. You have to figure out who killed the person (who is actually never named…), what weapon was used and what room the murder took place. My son LOVES this game. He loves the mystery plot and is always trying to figure out who the murderer is. He’s so funny because he tries to be sneaky and dips into the secret passageways. He’s getting pretty good at solving the crime, too.

Brynk is a game of balance. There all these shapes in the container and you have to balance them on the lid. The catch is that the lid is rounded on the bottom. So, it wobbles. IT looks easy, but it is far from easy.

We took several of the games to an Easter party we attended recently. EVERYONE really gathered around them and when there was a win (or a loss) the room erupted into cries of victory and defeat. From the smallest guest to the hosts, everyone decided they had to get in on the No-Stress Chess and the game of Brynk.

So, for a great time at home, in the car, or at a party, Winning Moves Games has something for every crowd, young and old. There are so many memories to be made. Have a night (or weekend) of hanging out, enjoying each other and show off your Winning Moves!
