With summertime quickly approaching, I can feel the cool weather of spring starting to slowly fade away. My kids and I love to be outside, and usually the summer heat will force us to stay inside a little more than we’d like to. However, I have recently discovered a new kids clothing line for my infant daughter called Tropicool Kids that has changed that for us. The benefits include cooling technology, UV and odor protection, and is moisture wicking. So when your baby sweats, the fabric reacts to cool them down. This lightweight fabric is incredibly soft and feels so comfortable, not to mention the design is super cute, for a boy or a girl.
Among the other great benefits of this fabric, the UV protection is the most important to me. It provides protection from the sun along with sunscreen. This fabric is rated UPF 50+, which is the highest protection rating possible for a garment.
Reading about the family that created Tropicool Kids made me feel more connected with them as they currently live in Tampa, FL, which is where my husband and I were born and raised. So I know from experience that the heat and humidity can really take a toll on you and can certainly ruin any outdoor plans you may have, especially with kids.
Their uniquely designed onesie gives us more flexibility for our outdoor activities. We love going to the zoo, the park, or just playing in the backyard, and now that I know my daughter will be a little cooler while being out and about for longer periods of time, it puts my mind at ease.
We currently live in South Carolina, but visit Florida often to see family and friends.
