Skin trouble? I am sure no one has any skin problems out there, we all have perfect skin! Well we know that is just silly. In my family alone two of my children have eczema, and my husband has keratosis pilaris, which is bumpy skin also known as “chicken skin.” Beyond these larger issues are the everyday issues like dry or oily skin, red patches, or raw skin. The list of health and beauty concerns can be an extensive list.
About First Aid Beauty:
Lilli Gordon founded First Aid Beauty in 2009, when she set out to create a skincare system that addressed common skin challenges that was simple but effective.
At FAB, we believe that skin matters, especially yours and are committed to offering effective, feel-good solutions and head-to-toe essentials for all skin types, even sensitive.
First Aid Beauty products are all allergy-tested, free of artificial fragrance, free of parabens, and safe for sensitive skin.
I recently had the opportunity to try a bunch of FAB’s great products. Shown above is all the face products I have been using for the past two weeks. I wash my face, then I use the Facial Radiance Pads. They are pads that have toner on them and are so quick and easy to use. Then I toss out the pad, and can see the dirt it pulled off my skin from daily life. Then I use the Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum. A small pump gives me enough to cover my face and neck. It is a decadent feeling that replenishes, smooths, and softens skin. It really makes me feel like I am pampering myself twice a day.
In the morning I also use the Eye Duty Triple Remedy AM Gel, all around my eyes to get rid of lines and bags. In the PM I wait for the serum to fully absorb and put on Ultra Repair Hydra-Firm Sleeping Cream. This adds hydration to my skin while I sleep and firms my skin up. Then a few times a week you can use the Ultra Repair Instant Oatmeal Mask. You put it on and let it dry. Wash it off after ten minutes, and your face is so firm and silky. I like the way my face looks and feels after using it. All of these products have minimized my pores, and left my face feeling clean and soft.
The Ultra Repair Intensive Lip Balm can be used anytime you want. It is silky smooth and my lips are no longer cracked and dry. They feel great. I was very impressed in the ingredient list of the Lip Balm. It uses bee power to make lips amazing. It has honey which naturally attracts and holds moisture in the skin. It has Beeswax, a natural emollient for deep moisture, and also Propolis Extract, which helps repair damage and restore skin. Thank you Bees!
First Aid Beauty’s Ultra Repair Creme was amazing for my son. His eczema bothers him often, and we have had to resort to steroid creme a few times from the pediatrician. How great it was to try this creme and see marked improvements within a few days. Two weeks later and his skin looks so much better than before.
Beyond how it looks to the eye is how it feels to him. It does not itch anymore. He is so happy to not be bothered by the annoying itchiness that was off and on all day. My daughter has eczema also, however it is not bothering her now. When it does, I have the solution!
I have to say I was very impressed with every single item that I was able to try. First Aid Beauty makes great products, and there is something for all skin types and issues. These items are essential parts of my daily routine now. I love the way my face looks, and my skin feels. Even my husband likes the Ultra Repair Creme since his hands crack from work. He also likes the Cleansing Body Polish with Active Charcoal in the shower to help with his “chicken skin.”
