This past fall I purchased a new Jeep after spending a year trying to make my old car work for me. It became so bad that my husband had to pose an intervention to explain that I was running out of time, and he didn’t want to find my son and I stranded on the side of the road. He went even further to use scare tactics to get me to understand the severity of my issue – that, of course, worked like a charm. Nothing scares a mother more than “snow season is upon us and your car is too dangerous to drive in it.”
That year before I purchased my Jeep was one crazy year though. I went through more “You need a new car” signs than most people.
